COVID challenged us all on many levels, and introduced a lot of changes to our lives. Many of those have disappeared, thank goodness. One development that’s likely to stay with us for a long time is the increased use of telehealth. It’s not always suitable, but in many cases telehealth can be both effective and convenient.
Back to school: new laws are making access to period products easier
Across the country, new laws are aimed at fighting period poverty and reducing time away from the classroom for students who menstruate. The USC Center for Health Journalism is helping to raise awareness of both challenges and solutions related to students’ access to period products.
